You Are For Me

For christmas 2009 my parents gave me Kari Jobe's self titled cd and I love it. :)

It's one of those cd's that I can listen to over and over again.

I listened to it all the time while I was pregnant with E and now, if he's fussy and I put it on he (usually, 9 times out of 10;) ) calms down.

Lately, life has been . . . well, frustrating . . . discouraging . . . hard.

E was fussy earlier today so I pulled up my itunes and played "You Are For Me" by Kari Jobe.

Not only did the music calm E down but the words of the song reminded me that no matter how frustrated and discouraged I may get God is always on my side, when thing's seem beyond my control it's because they are. It's not my job to find the perfect solution for every problem, it's His. I've really got to remember that more often. It would save me a lot of stressful, sleepless nights.
